Built with the knowledge and expertise of over 100 years of exceptional boot making,  Anderson Bean boots are hand-made in Mercedes, Texas, with high-quality full-grain leather foot and shaft, premium leather insoles and outsoles, and robust' leather heels with leather heel counters. These boots are lined with premium cowhide and are all-leather except for the steel shank and wooden pegs, which aid arch support while holding the outsole and vamp to the insole. 

This boot features a premium quality Ostrich leather vamp with a Royal Blue Premium Cowhide upper. It also features the awesome hybrid leather outsole with rubber sole saver panel that makes for the ultimate comfort and wear resistance! The hybrid is AB's most popular sole. It features a long-wearing, flexible rubber insert in the ball area of the prime leather sole, and it has a ribbed surface that improves grip and is lightweight and super flexible from the first step—handcrafted in the USA. Ostrich is the softest and most comfortable of the “exotic” leathers. It wears well and resists scratching and scuffing – a combination of softness and toughness. Ostrich is naturally resistant to barnyard acid. The quill pattern determines the price of genuine ostrich boots. Where you get a full quill pattern all over the foot, you are buying a much more expensive boot. The size of quill bumps depends on the age of animal and the portion of the hide from which the leather is cut. Ostrich is that ideal combination of durability and wearability which makes it the perfect leather for boots. Always wipe the dust and dirt off ostrich boots after wearing.

Anderson Bean's run a little generous compared to most brands so we suggest going down a half size from your norm.
